HOW DEPOSITS WORK

A non-refundable deposit is required to schedule a tattoo appointment. Your deposit will count toward the total price of the tattoo and will be taken off on the last scheduled session of your completed piece. It reserves your scheduled date and time and ensures that the artist is compensated for his time if a cancellation or no-show were to occur.

CAN SOMEONE ELSE USE MY DEPOSIT IF I CAN'T MAKE IT?

No, as the artist time was used to prep your art and hold that aloted time spot for your piece, your deposit will be forfeited and another deposit will be required to reschedule.

HOW CAN I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?

Fill out the contact form above or you can reach out through instagram @thegood.D.tattoos and provide a brief description, size, and location of your tattoo. Also provide any references you may have so I can get a better idea of what you have in mind. A consultation may be required. I suggest to get familiar with the style I do to see if I'd be the right person for your piece.

HOW SOON WILL MY SKETCH BE DONE?

Depending on the amount of detail in the piece you can expect a rough sketch around the week of or day of your appointment. Any major last minute changes to the design will require a reschedule.

HOW DO I TAKE CARE OF MY TATTOO?

If you left the shop wrapped in saran wrap then you will remove wrap after about an hour or immediately when you get home. Wash area gently with soap and water, pat dry with clean towel then apply a small amount of A/D ointment on your tattoo. (I prefer a brand called aquaphor) You'll do this 2x a day for 3 day. I suggest using non-scented lotion after to keep the area moisturtized afterward.

BUT YOU USED THAT 2ND SKIN STUFF ON MY TATTOO. WHAT IS IT?

second skin is a medical-grade, transparent, adhesive barrier that protects your tattoo while it heals. it's latex-free, water proof, breathable, and hypoallergenic.

WHAT DO I DO AFTER YOU PUT THE 2ND SKIN OVER MY TATTOO?

Nothing. Let your body do its thing. You're safe to leave your first piece of 2nd skin on for 7 days. If there is an immense amount of plasma pooling inside within the first 3 days it is recommend to either remove and replace with a fresh piece or remove and continue keeping the tattoo clean with soap and water if removed within 3 days.

CAN I GET MY DEPOSIT BACK IF I CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT WAY IN ADVANCE?

Sorry, deposits are non-refundable. Please make sure you are positively sure and happy with the piece you want before you decide to schedule an appointment. Again, please refer to my portfolio to get familiar with my style of work.
